MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKING
CONTROLLER FOR DIAPHRAGM PUMPS

This controller comes enclosed in a PVC housing.  The controller keeps the solar panels operating at their rated voltage to maintain their rated wattage.  This is like a "automatic transmission" for your pump.  When the solar panels are not putting out much power then the MPPT shifts down into low gear but as the panels get more sun and produce more power the MPPT grabs another gear or two and the pump speeds up.   This little device can make the difference between no pumping and great pumping.   It is like adding additional solar panels but at a lot less cost.
