These pumps come with either 50' or 100' of wire. They can run with or without a maximum power point tracking system (MPPT).  The pumps will come on earlier in the morning and run later in the day and they will pump more water while running if you have a MPPT system on them.  They will run on any voltage from 12 to 32 vdc.   The more voltage you supply to them the more water they pump.  These little pumps are a good choice for pasture rotation where you don't need to run them all year.   To shut them off simply unhook them from the solar panels.  There are guys who have been running the same pump for over 5 years on summer pasture who love them.   Then there are guys who run them year round who have to change the pumps out every 16-18 months.  For high demands, deep wells, and year round running, we suggest using a Grundfos SQFlex pumping system.
